He was scared of her getting an imaginary pot from the floor and running and throwing it at her or something. Not sure how his story makes sense. He could've left the place. He has no duty to protect an individual, so the option was to just leave since there wasn't anything suspect going on. No, he decides to close the distance as she ducks after he points his gun, not a taser, a gun because boiling water. He will survive like the many others from boiling water if that was the actual threat rather than her just being black and near a stove. He had another option, shut off the stove himself since they were in the house anyway.

If this were Texas, he'd get off scot free, but luckily he's been indicted, but whether that leads to a trial and conviction who knows. He murdered her. There was no one to protect not even himself. He got angry because he himself is unstable. All he had to do was walk away save everyone the trouble.

Again, this should have been easy. If she was acting weird, get someone else to deal with it. No crime, nothing to do. Walk away. Fucking PIG!
