Prosecutors didn't bother to charge either party. We can say that this officer should have been charged with a crime given no government official wanted to side with the cop. This was a massive L for the government had they decided to prosecute or go to trial criminal or civil. Might be even able to sue the prosecutors for even bringing up any charges for malicious prosecution given the amount of damages caused by the cop and further damages resulting from prosecution. It would've been selective prosecution as well because they never charged the criminal PIG but they chose to the guy.
