Police Arrest "Wrong" Black Man: "F—, we got the wrong guy"
Another case of WHOOPS MY BAD, we'll drop the charges in 14 months!

Ah, it's Texas! Good olde Texas where they ordered a black family out of a car at gunpoint before realizing OOPS MY BAD!

Article: https://lawandcrime.com/lawsuit/f-we-got-the-wrong-guy-fired-security-guard-with-lawfully-registered-gun-sues-texas-cops-for-arresting-him-as-he-drove-to-pick-up-french-toast-for-his-kids

A 27-year-old Texas security guard who lost his job and his home after he was wrongfully arrested in 2021 is suing the city of Dallas and multiple police officers for jailing him
Silvester Hayes filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas on Oct. 16 against Dallas Police Department officers Walter Paul Guab, Holly Harris, and 10 Does, for allegedly violating 42 U.S.C. § 1983 and his Fourth and 14th Amendment rights on the morning of Oct. 16, 2021, while the single father of four was on his way to pick up French toast and bacon for his kids.

Oh, a father being a father on a normal day. OH hohoho 'WRONG PLACE WRONG TIME!'

Although a police sergeant in charge apologized to Hayes for “his team roughing him up,” Hayes went to jail for days for resisting arrest and unlawful possession of a weapon based on the “misrepresentations and false representations” of Guab and Harris, the lawsuit alleged. As a result, Hayes said, he lost his job, his home, and his ability to provide for his kids.

They tried everything to try to get charges on him, but failed so miserably because they found that one black guy who isn't on parole. Resisting arrest 😂 what lawful arrest? Unlawful possession of weapon, based on what? His skin color? No one verified anything. Stupid people doing stupid sh*t. That settlement's going to be big, at least 500k big ones.

Will those cops be punished for lying their asses off and pursuing false charges? Hah! Who's funding all of this? The taxpayer.
