Alejandro Giraldo, former miami dade pig, attacked Dyma Loving, a black woman calling for help, for supposedly being "disorderly". Yeah, he has a racist bent as a witness, another cop there, refuted his disorderly claim.
What was the situation?
Loving and her friend, Adrianna Green, called the police for help after a neighbor pointed a gun at them and called them derogatory terms. The March 5 video shows the aftermath of the interaction with police threatening, then shoving Loving to the ground and subsequently charging her with resisting arrest.

Giraldo was arrested on Thursday and charged with official misconduct, a felony, for allegedly making false statements in official reports. He was also charged with battery.

In sworn statements to investigators, four Miami-Dade police officers who were there the day of the arrest described Loving as calm and said she did not pose a threat or cause a crowd to gather during her interview.
Investigators wrote that the footage captured on the officers' body cameras supported their statements, which contradict what Giraldo wrote in his police report.
Former MDPD officer sentenced to 364 days behind bars following rough arrest: https://www.cbsnews.com/miami/news/former-mdpd-officer-sentenced-to-364-days-behind-bars-following-rough-arrest/
A judge sentenced a former Miami-Dade police officer to 364 days in jail for tackling a woman to the ground.
Alejandro Giraldo, a FORMER veteran officer, was found guilty of battery and official misconduct for lying in a police report. Now he'll spend almost a year behind bars.
A year for knowingly violating the law, especially with lying, beating, and kidnapping as a LAW ENFORCEMENT officer, seems light. The victim seems relieved which is good, but it really seems punishable by maybe 2.5-3 years if not more plus fines. This cop wasted valuable resources and time with his massive misconduct. What stops him from being a law enforcement officer in the future anyway? Is he on a blacklist that is checked by all agencies?
