The driver is responsible for their car and what goes on in it. They charge drivers for any "illegal" items that may be stored in it regardless of knowledge.

Siding with the passenger here, for sure. This cop 🐷 had no business trying to force the passenger out of the car. Why did he refuse the driver's license anyway? Is this what this cop does on a daily basis with no correction whatsoever from anyone? What court or prosecutor is going to bother with the ticket when he is not the driver? Do they not give notice to the cop that the cases are dismissed due to not following THE LAW or are they just complicit and don't give two fucks.

The cop ends up giving only a warning to the driver because let's be honest, he knew he was wrong and wanted to feel right after doubling down on the wrong path. Qualified Immunity would have definitely made it difficult for this this man to pursue a civil rights case against this dumb fuk.

QUALIFIED IMMUNITY MUST BE REPEALED and REFORMED.
