Yeesh. In the comments for related videos, this footage is used for what not to do nowadays, which is good, but at the same time why would an officer feel so bold to not wait or listen to reason? That's the root cause leading to the struggle where she got a BIG lesson. She also shot the mother in her ensuing rage of stupidity.
Aggressor: Ashley Cure
Victim: Dianne Maros
This deputy is so stupid. There's no one who feels sorry for her as she got herself into this situation.

The Sheriff's Office found that Cure's decision to fire her weapon was justified, though she was disciplined for a violating policy for proper arresting procedures. The Sheriff's Office has not disclosed the exact nature of the violation.
The State Law Enforcement Division investigated and found no criminal wrongdoing by Cure.
Maros' lawsuit claims Cure and the Sheriff's Office were grossly negligent. Maros seeks a jury trial to be awarded damages in an amount to be determined by the court after filing her suit last month.
...According to her federal lawsuit, Maros underwent "no fewer than 15 surgeries" during treatment for her gunshot wound and is under continued medical care.
The suit claims Cure had no legal basis to ever follow Kaiser back into his home. The suit claims Cure was already familiar with Kaiser and Maros and had been instructed not to arrest Kaiser in the shoplifting case since it had not been very recently committed and she did not yet have an arrest warrant.
We investigated ourselves and found we did nothing wrong.

It's unclear if she resigned though it wouldn't be surprising.
